On December 5, 2023, Archivist of the United States Dr. Colleen Shogan attended the 2023 Records of Achievement Award Ceremony honoring Smithsonian Secretary Lonnie G. Bunch III, hosted by the National Archives Foundation.
On December 6, 2023,Dr. Shogan met with Representative Chuck Edwards (R-NC) and his Congressional staff in the Legislative Vaults of the National Archives in Washington, DC.
On December 7, 2023, Dr. Shogan welcomed Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and her staff during their visit to the Legislative Vaults. “It was a honor to host AOC and her Congressional staff today at the National Archives.” said Dr. Shogan.
Also that day, Dr. Shogan (left) met with Representative Paul Tonko (D-NY) and his staff outside the National Archives Rotunda.
