On October 11, 2023, Archivist of the United States Dr. Colleen Shogan met with the ambassador of Argentina, Jorge Argüello, in her office at the National Archives in Washington, DC (Archives I). Dr. Shogan and Ambassador Argüello were also joined by his wife, Erika Grinberg.
On October 12, Dr. Shogan announced a new policy at the National Archives in regards to photography at the National Archives Museum. Non-flash photography is encouraged in all public areas of the National Archives Museum unless otherwise posted.
On October 13, Dr. Shogan attended her first America250 commission meeting. America250 is a nonpartisan initiative working to engage every American in commemorating the 250th anniversary of our country.
On October 13, Dr. Shogan congratulated Cindy and Jeff on completing their Presidential Libraries Passports!
