On October 2, 2024 Dr. Shogan visited West Virginia University. In honor of American Archives Month, WVU Libraries showcased the Libraries’ special and historical collections, as well as illustrated their methods and dedication to acquiring, preserving and providing access to materials in all formats that illuminate both local and national history and culture.
On October 3, 2024, Dr. Shogan posted in honor of #America250 and invited the public to join #AmericasFieldTrip! “I love meeting students from across the U.S. who are eager to visit iconic landmarks, learn about #AmericanHistory, and celebrate #Declaration250 with the National Archives!”
