On July 4, 2024, Dr. Shogan shared a link on X to the CNN article she co-authored with Secretary of the Smithsonian Lonnie G. Bunch III and Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden titled, “This July 4th, a Different Way to Celebrate the History We Share.”
