On October 7, 2024, Archivist of the United States Dr. Colleen Shogan gave remarks before members of the Archer Center, The University of Texas in Washington, DC, in the Archivist’s Reception Room at the National Archives.

On October 8, 2024, Dr. Shogan invited the public to come check out the National Archives’ new “Inside the Vault,” series. Inside the Vault is a new series of monthly virtual public programs that will examine stories of the people, events, and ideas found in the records of the National Archives. A variety of special guests – authors, historians, and eyewitnesses will be invited to participate and share their knowledge and experiences.
